We’re very happy that Jonathan Faber has joined us for a co-op position here at Zeitspace. Jonathan is a Computer Science student at the University of Guelph. Here are his answers to our now-standard questions for the blog!
I would say that what I enjoy the most about software development is the problem solving. I like problem solving due to that “aha” moment when the pieces of the puzzle suddenly fit together. When I was young I loved solving problems with math but after taking my first computer science course in high school I knew that software development was what I wanted to do.
My favourite course in university was micro-computers. In this course we did a lot of programming in assembly and it allowed me to better understand from where higher level languages stem. Most of my experience is in client-side desktop applications, which I really enjoy. I am excited to learn more types of development and hope that I like them just as much!
I would have to recommend Pink Floyd for their unique style of music. They are the band that got me interested in discovering my own tastes in music.
Bubble tea. I really like the feel of tapioca balls.
I love exercise!
