Progressive Web Apps are web applications that harness the power of several new Web APIs to provide a native-app-like experience on mobile devices. In this workshop, you’ll turn a simple web application into a PWA.
If you’d like to participate in the workshop, we ask that you bring a laptop and charger. Also, please install the following software before arriving at the workshop:
- A recent version of Google Chrome.
- A text editor or an IDE. If you don’t have one installed, we recommend Atom.
- Git. Please also clone the starter application repository. If you don’t want to install Git, you can download the starter application as a ZIP file.
- Node.js and NPM. If you’re feeling eager, you can get started on the full setup instructions.
